As a single mom with a full time job, I must admit I never cook. This program has definitely made me see I can feed my kids better!

As a single mom with a full time job, I must admit I never cook. We eat mainly frozen food, fast food or at restaurants. I could even be deemed a “Freezer Queen” or “Fast Food Junkie.” This program has definitely made me see I can feed my kids better! For example, Dr. Gardner’s Macaroni & Cheese recipe is both easy to prepare and incredibly delicious. This recipe makes a great meal, and lots of leftovers for the next day. This is not your kid’s Kraft™ Macaroni and Cheese, but rather a gourmet meal both adults and even the pickiest kids will love. A very versatile “comfort food recipe” for any day of the week, holiday or season that even the laziest of cooks can prepare. Quickly.

"An Eating Creed" made me want to go out and make a different vegetable for dinner, maybe a purple one. Great message for kids!"

Before reading "An Eating Creed" I hadn't given much thought to varying the types of  fruits and vegetables my family eats. We eat them often, but usually stick to a few favorites. But afterward, I saw immediately that we should change our habits. I even told a friend that the book made me want to go out and make a different vegetable for dinner, maybe a purple one. Great message for kids!"

The "Division of Responsibility" and Family Food Manners makes dinner so much easier!

The "Division of Responsibility" and “Family Food Manners” makes dinner so much easier! I just have to make a healthy meal and deliver it to the table. As long as my boys adhere to the one bite rule, the rest is up to them. Gone is the the fight over what to eat and whether they are done. To be honest, they now usually eat what I serve. Maybe it's me, but I even think my dinners taste better. They're definitely more enjoyable.

Dr. Gardner's approach to weight management is what makes sense to me as a mom—no dieting, better choices, gradual slimming.

My son is overweight and I wanted to teach him to make better choices, not just lose weight. Dr. Gardner’s approach to weight management is what makes sense to me as a mom—no dieting, better choices, gradual “slimming.” Using the race car analogy and the Fill up with Premium Healthy Eating Plan I am beginning to see small changes. I also now have a way to talk to him about his weight. We use the child relaxation techniques, daily journaling and meet once a week to do the family meeting. I can't wait to start the Grand Prix!

Dr. Gardner's "Worth the Effort" French onion soup is worth the effort!

Dr. Gardner's "Worth the Effort" French onion soup is—just as the name says—totally worth the extra time and effort. We've sampled French onion soup at bistros all over Paris and nothing compares. This is my go-to for both dinner parties and when I just need a comforting meal for my family.
